Who Is Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
