The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
